SOME Warwick weather-watchers were feeling a bit nervous yesterday as the clouds opened up amid rumours of heavy downpours.

But, the heavy falls are not predicted to head towards the region this week, with only showers on the radar, according to weatherzone.

Warwick can today expect between 5-10mm of rain throughout the day, continuing until about 6pm today.

We are likely to get some wind through the region today, with speeds of up to 20kmh.

Looking into tomorrow, we can expect it to be mostly clear, but cloudy, throughout the day with the chance of an afternoon shower.

The showers are predicted to bring no more than 5mm.

Winds will pick up 2-3kmh tomorrow, and continue into Thursday where we're looking at much the same story in the rainfall department, between 1-5mm.

Weatherzone has predicted more showers on Friday, continuing into the weekend where Warwick is likely to see about 5-10mm on Saturday and between 1-5mm Sunday.

So while we're not expecting a huge downpour, it's best to keep the brolly in the car just in case.
