Help on hand for flood assistance

FILLING out forms for flood assistance and applying for loans can be a stressful and complicated process.

But Southern Downs farmers can breathe a sigh of relief with the new Rural Financial Counselling Service Queensland counsellor Donna Neale-Arnold on deck now.

Ms Neale-Arnold, the former manager of Heritage Bank, said it was her job to help make farmers' financial life just that little bit easier.

And the service, funded by both the state and federal governments is free.

"I can help with disaster applications, cash flows for loan applications, farm debt mediation and farm loans for all rural producers," she said.

Ms Neale-Arnold covers from Texas, Inglewood, Clifton, Toowoomba, Maryvale, Stanthorpe and Warwick.

"If you are not sure still give me a call and I can refer you to the right person."

To make an appointment phone Ms Neale-Arnold on 4661 5501.
