Search for local heroes begins
THERE is now less than one week left to nominate a worthy person for the inaugural Suncorp Bank Hidden Local Heroes Award.
Suncorp Bank Head of Personal Customers Lynne Sutherland said the organisation was proud to offer communities the chance to say "thank you".
"The volume and variety of nominees so far is phenomenal. From emergency service volunteers to sporting coaches, charity founders to disability workers, it's wonderful to acknowledge and reward those who tirelessly and humbly serve our communities," Ms Sutherland said.
