Help us say thanks to our local heroes at the hospital

TODAY we published a touching letter from a woman who's currently grieving the loss of the man she affectionately describes as a "beaut husband and my best friend".

Although she is dealing with immense pain right now, Kay Cliffe found the time to pen the Daily News staff a letter to share her sincere gratitude to all the members of the Warwick Hospital who cared for her husband as his life drew to an end.

The fact she even thought to thank the doctors, nurses and other staff during a time when she was suffering such a devastating loss shows these care providers must have really had a positive effect on her and her husband.

It's great to be able to highlight such kind and compassionate care within our community.

While there are plenty of people who have experienced such treatment, it isn't always made public.

We at the Daily News would love to be able to highlight more wonderful care providers in our community and are asking you to share your stories with us.

Have you had a wonderful experience at the Warwick Hospital? Been helped by a local paramedic or been helped by somebody else in the community and want to say thank you?

Give me a call, or send me an email so we can really show what a great place the Rose City really is.
