UPDATE: Man missing for a week, found

UPDATE 11am, WEDNESDAY: A WARWICK man who has been missing for more than a week has been found.

Michael Grist, 39, had been missing since Tuesday December 13 and had last been seen on Albert Street.

Warwick Police Senior sergeant Lisa Self said Mr Grist had been found safe and well.

"Police have located him in Warwick and he was found to be safe and well," Snr Srgt Self said.

Police did not say where in Warwick Mr Grist was located.

 

TUESDAY 5.30pm:

POLICE are urging any members of the public who have seen Michael Grist recently to come forward.

The 39-year-old Warwick man was last seen on Tuesday December 13 on Albert Street, Warwick.

He has not made contact with family or friends since.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition and this behaviour is out of character.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 187cms tall, black hair, green eyes and very large build.

It is possible that he may be driving a red 2002 Holden Vectra sedan with Queensland registration 113VDJ.

Anyone who may be able to assist is being urged to contact police on 4660 4444.
