Here’s a team with 79 years experience in hardware

John Head

I'VE been at Olsens now for nearly 26 years.

Before moving to Warwick I was a Telecom technician in Brisbane for 15 years, but gave that up and bought a farm out here.

Back in about 1990, I wanted some weekend work and started with Olsens.

Over the years, that turned into full-time work although recently I cut back to three days a week.

I enjoy the work, I enjoy dealing with the customers; Warwick people are great.

Alan and Leanne (Olsen) are the best bosses I've ever worked for as well, which makes it even better.

When I'm not working I'm trying to fix the farm up and was also a charter member of the Rotary Club of Warwick Sunrise.

Cheryl Featherstone

I moved to Warwick in 2004 and started at Olsens in 2006.

I was living in Nerang but wanted a tree change.

I love the parks here and the sense of civil pride.

I moved here to get away from my mum and dad, but they followed me.

There's a plethora of knowledge in this business that you would struggle to find in any other hardware shop.

I spend my time listening to customers and solving problems, nothing is too much trouble.

Alan (Olsen) is very strong on good service and we all pride ourselves on that.

Robert Cross

I will have been working for Olsens for 28 years this September.

I had been working at Warwick Hardware for 16 years when Olsens bought it and I stayed on and moved across with them.

That makes 44 years in the hardware industry so I like to think I know what I'm talking about.

We're always having to learn new things though, as technology changes.

And we're always kept entertained by John's anecdotes and stories.

He seems to have a saying for everything, some we can't repeat.
