He's been on the Green, Dragon St and now Collinora!
HE'S made a name having owned a number of restaurants around town, but Frankie Lo Giudice has moved on to his latest business - Frankie's Al Fresco on Collinora.
On the corner of Canning and Wood Sts, the beautiful Queenslander is girt by a romantic garden, and if you don't look hard enough, you may just miss the gorgeous restaurant inside.
Frankie's Al Fresco on Collinora opened its doors last Friday.
Frankie said he had had his eye on Collinora for a while, and was glad to finally put his name on it.
"The thing I love about this place is the gardens," he said.
"On Friday night I set up a few tables out the front on the lawn with some candles and it looked so beautiful and romantic.
"It looked like the perfect place for someone to propose to their partner."
Frankie said the menu would reflect some of the old favourites he was known for, as well as some new dishes.
"The menu will change from week to week depending on the season," he said.
"We will also do coffees and cakes too."
Frankie's Al Fresco on Collinora is open from 9am-3pm on weekdays and for dinner with bookings only, and Sunday for breakfast 8-11am.
He said he also welcomed functions.
"We will do garden weddings and ceremonies and things like family photo shoots," Frankie said.
"Plus we cater for mothers' groups and we'll still have the Italian meal deals."
