High school kids blitz their expo
THERE was so much action at the Warwick State High School (WSHS) Expo it was hard to find a starting point as the whole school was placed on show, and excitement ruled in the ring.
With students battling over a minute to win it, CO2 dragsters, riding a mechanical bull and showing off their talents in chess, music and acting, it was a great show.
Drama students put on a magnificent show with lots of laughter in the hall followed by a display of great musical talent.
WSHS principal Cathy Rolfe said there were a lot of children around with plenty of things for them to do.
“This is an event where we can bring together a whole heap of things we do as a school,” Mrs Rolfe said. “Staff have been absolutely wonderful and supportive.”
The action in the ring with steer wrestling, bulls, broncs and roping was a great success, showing yet again the Rose City has talent when it comes to rodeo.
