Highway crash victim now in a serious condition
UPDATE: The condition of one of the motorists involved in a serious traffic crash on the Bunya Hwy late yesterday has deteriorated overnight.
The 79-year-old man, the driver of one of the vehicles involved, is now in a serious condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
His 77-year-old female passenger was airlifted to the same hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the two vehicle traffic crash, which took place at the intersection of Chinchilla Wondai Road and the Bunya Highway

Shortly after 4pm two cars were travelling along the Chinchilla Wondai Rd when one of the vehicles failed to give way to a vehicle travelling north.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Kingaroy hospital suffering minor injuries.
7AM: Crash victims from a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of the Bunya Hwy and the Chinchilla Wondai Rd had to be airlifted from the scene.
Emergency services were called to the Tingoora scene about 4.15pm yesterday.
An ambulance spokeswoman said a 28-year-old man was taken by road to Kingaroy Hospital.
nd an 80-year-old man with neck and chest pain were airlifted to larger hospitals.
RACQ CareFlight took both injured motorists to Royal Brisbane Hospital.
