Home teams will win, says local NRL tipster

FORMER Warwick Cowboys coach and this week's local tipster, George McVeigh is backing the home teams to do the business in the NRL this weekend, tipping the home team in almost every round.

Panthers v Rabbitohs

I have gone for the Panthers because of the home ground advantage. I don't think the Rabbitohs are playing that well and I think they should have done better against the Dragons last week.

Titans v Broncos

I am backing the Titans. The form of the Titans has been unsung and they are equal leaders on the ladder coming into the round. If ever they are going to beat the Broncos, this is the time.

Raiders v Knights

The Raiders are always difficult to beat at home so I have gone for them. I think the Knights will be better when they get a few injured players back but Canberra will be too good at home in this one.

Eels v Roosters

I think this game will be the knockout of the round with the Eels to beat the Roosters for mine. I watched the Eels against the Broncos last week and to me, they look very focused.

Tigers v Cowboys

I think coach Mick Potter is really putting the polish on the Tigers and I have tipped them this week. No one has talked about the Tigers but they are playing good footy.

Warriors v Bulldogs

It is unbelievable how many teams come out and win after their coach has been sacked so I am backing the Warriors here.

Sea Eagles v Sharks

Once again I have gone for the home team here. The Sharks have not had a great start to the season and I think Manly will be too strong in this one.

Storm v Dragons

I have tipped St. George here. The Dragons have not beaten the Storm in a long time but I don't think the Storm are going that well.
