How you can score a new car for just $25
THANKS to the folks at Cassels Automotive and Nutramix, shoppers have a one-in-500 chance to win a new Mitsubishi Mirage ES Hatch, valued at $14,490.
The car will be raffled as part of the fundraising for the Pub Choir comes to Southern Downs event.
Tickets are on sale and cost $25, with a limit of 10 tickets per person.
All money raised will go to the McGrath Foundation, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, the Condamine Valley Warwick QCWA Drought Relief Appeal and the Warwick Chamber of Commerce.
Matthew Wainwright, from Nutramix Performance Stockfeed and Supplements, said they were organisations worth supporting.
"They are very close to our hearts,” he said.
"My wife and I currently have friends of the family who are battling breast cancer at the moment.
"With the drought relief side, we own a stockfeed company, so we are dealing with customers battling the drought every day, we see firsthand what sort issues they are going through both financially and emotionally.
"We are graziers so we have a great respect for what farmers do.”
While David Cassels, from Cassels Automotive, and Mr Wainwright will cover the cost of the car, accountancy firm Barlow Dolling will pay foradministration and printing costs so every dollar the public spends on tickets will go to the intended groups.
The winning ticket will be drawn during the Pub Choir event at the Warwick Town Hall, though the winner does not have to attend.
The Pub Choir is a first for Warwick. It involves the whole audience joining for an evening of music coaching to prepare for a group sing-a-long.
