Huge fines for highway driver

DRIVING an unregistered and uninsured car has seen a driver stung with over more than $800 in fines.

The 63-year-old woman was travelling to Warwick along the New England Hwy when police carried out a random check on the vehicle.

The Sadlier's Crossing woman was given a permit to allow her to drive home.
