100 players for charity golf day

THE inaugural Wade First National Real Estate Charity Golf Day at the Warwick Golf Club yesterday attracted 104 players.

Organisers were delighted with the response to an event to raise funds for the charities of the Rotary Club of Warwick and the Rotary Club of Warwick Sunrise.

Warwick Golf Club president Don Stewart was delighted with the response to the day.

“We had approximately 20 players who aren’t regular golfers,” Stewart said.

“The two Rotary clubs were happy with the day and want it be become an annual event.”

The best gross score of the day was 10 under the team of Sam and Geoff Hinze, Michael and Annice Payne.
