UPDATE 3pm: A vegetation fire south east of Warwick has been contained by firefighters.

Warwick Rural Fire Brigade Group officer Alan Payne said the fire was contained about midnight last night but crews remained at the scene patrolling the blaze.

More than 30 crews have been sent to fight the fire at different points over the last few days, after it crossed over the border from Cullendore in New South Wales on Sunday.

This includes units from Warwick, Killarney, Dalveen, Wildash, Freestone, Massie, Gladfield Maryvale, Allora, The Glen and Greymare.

A spokesman from Queensland Fire and Emergency services said as of last night, about 330ha of Queensland country had been burnt in the blaze.

INITIAL 7.30am: A water bomber was sent to hit hotspots in a vegetation fire south east of Warwick overnight, which has been burning since Sunday.

Ten crews are currently on scene and worked overnight to put in fire breaks and undertake a controlled burn.

The spokesman said a fire investigator from New South Wales had also attended the scene.

A shipping container in the vegetation was the only structure that had been damaged, he said.
