Hunt continues after station drama
THEY fled from police and five days later are still on the run.
Last Friday, when police attempted to speak with the occupants of a blue sedan at the Matilda Roadhouse on the New England Hwy, they sped off, leaving a trail of destruction behind them.
The male driver and his female passenger were last seen heading towards Brisbane and a Queensland Police Service media spokesman said they have not been sighted since.
"There is no indication the car has been located and no charges have been laid," he said.
A female officer who sustained soft-tissue injuries to her arm during the incident has returned to work.
