Ice, rain and fog forecast

WHILE last night was not expected to be as cold as Tuesday night, which reached a low of -2.7 degrees, there is a good chance a few ponds and bird baths around Warwick had a layer of ice on them this morning.

The mercury was predicted to sink as low as zero degrees overnight.

Rain is expected to fall in the Rose City tomorrow but it will be slightly warmer with temperatures ranging from 4-13 degrees.

The rain will hang around on Saturday which is expected to reach a top of 15.

Those planning to be on the roads around Warwick early Sunday morning will need to put their headlights on with fog predicted to cloak the city.

It is expected to clear to a fine day, with the mercury climbing to a high of 16 degrees.
