Illusionist set to Release the Bats

SMOKE, bats and all things magic will entertain at Warwick RSL next Saturday night as local illusionist Taos Poole casts a spell on the crowd.

The show, titled Release the Bats, follows on from Taos's previous show, Hell Strum, which sold out in February last year.

"I like to do things a little differently to the traditional rabbit-out-of-the-hat magic," Taos said.

Among the surprising illusions and tricks, Taos hopes to shock as he debuts the Phoenix separator.

"Our deadliest creation yet," he said.

Keen on audience participation, Taos has asked for those attending to bring two items from home, if they dare.

"This time it would be great if people could bring their own deck of cards and a paperback novel," he said.

All ages are welcome, although parental guidance is recommended.

Enthusiasts are advised to get in quickly because the tickets are expected to sell out fast.

WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 8pm

WHERE: Kings Theatre, Warwick RSL.

PRICE: $20, tickets available at the RSL reception.
