Intruder out of the running for Big Brother title

IT WAS a double intruder eviction last night on Big Brother.

Both Sam Wallace and canine housemate Delilah were sent packing on the reality show.

"I was glad that it was Delilah and nobody else," Wallace said.

"Being an intruder I'm very happy with how far I've gone."

The 21-year-old had to farewell his love interest Layla Subritzky, a separation made easier by the fact that he will be reunited with the British beautician either tonight or Wednesday night.

The glamour couple is going to give their relationship a red-hot go on the outside.

"She's such an easy person to be with," he said.

"We're going to be such good friends regardless."

But he quashed rumours in the media that Subritzky had promised to give him a car if she won the show's grand prize.

"That came up because I said in the house, more of me telling her, that 'if you win I'm taking the car', which I'm sure isn't going to be the case," he said.

Wallace said he was unaware of a brewing romance between Brisbane copywriter Michael Beveridge and law student Estelle Landy while he was in the house.

"I could sit here and say it's strategic or say it's genuine, but to be honest I have no idea," he said.

"It was only brought to my knowledge when I left the house.

"In the house it is nice to have the companionship with the opposite sex when you sit there and cuddle."

According to Sportsbet, Landy is the current favourite to win Wednesday's final at 1.9 odds, with Benjamin Norris and Subritzky following at 3.25 and 3.50 odds respectively.

Beveridge is currently sitting in fifth place at 8 odds and Zoe Westgarth is the dark horse of the race at 34 odds to win.
