Iron Men by name only

ENDEAVOUR Rally entrants and long-time mates - the Isuzu Iron Men - plan to age together in style this year by raising dust and dollars for a cause.

All turning 40 this year, the group members promised one another the only hill they will be going over is a dirt one.

Although they said they would run the other way in a real water emergency the boys were happy to look the part as they hit the dusty track to Corner Country, and then Bundaberg.

"We have zero lifesaving experience but there isn't any water in the car so we should be right," Jon 'Butcher' Castle said.

"We have been planning to do this for 15 years."

The Goondiwindi guys were also happy to show off the signature call they had been practising in the weeks leading up to the rally.

"Get out of the water!" Jason 'Big Marn' Quinnell announced into the vehicle's speaker system as they cleared the way to the start line.
