Is this your beary good friend?
A WEEK has passed since Marie Jobson found a white teddy bear outside of her West Warwick home.
The Rose City woman hopes she can return the toy to its rightful owner by Christmas.
Even after posting on social media, Mrs Jobson said she was at a loss as to who may own the teddy.
"It was strange - I took my car in for a service at 8am on Wednesday and when I had returned by about 10 there he was," she said.
"He was sitting in a nest of what looks like meat ants so I'm thinking maybe a kid got bitten and then dropped him and just ran.
"He was covered in ants when I found him and he had a few prickles on him, but he was obviously well cared for because he was still quite clean and white apart from that."
Mrs Jobson said her own grandkids had taken care of the bear while she was still searching for the owners.
"My granddaughter's been running around the house with him and taking him on walks," she said.
"My grandson loves him and wanted to take him home with him but I would prefer to hold on to him and hopefully get it back to its owners.
"I just know how kids can be when they lose something so hopefully we can find the owners by Christmas."
If you can help return the missing bear to its owners, message Marie Jobson on Facebook or phone the Daily News on 46601324.
