Jacinta and Tay are model netballers

BEING a good player is helpful however being a team player is even better.

Netball does not work well if the team isn’t working together. Jacinta Keogh and Tay Mentha demonstrated amazing team work in the centre court.

Jacinta and Tay were able to rely on each other for a back up pass.

They also show a strong defensive ability. These ladies never stop giving it there all.

They are two very good players to watch. The standard of netball that these ladies are showing is the standard that all competive players should strive to have.

Mary’s pass

MARY Higgins is the one girl that can throw a pass without even looking and it goes where she wants it to.

Mary has always made my heart skip a beat when the ball goes out of her hands and into the air; however the ball always went to the perfect spot.

She has changed into a defence position in the circle this year. Coming from a centre court player to now a defensive player in the circle can be very difficult.

But not for Mary she has slotted into this position perfectly. Mary keeps up her opponent really well and can read the play to make a good intercept. It has been great seeing Mary progress with her skill level. Keep it up Mary.

Top shooting

THIS week also brought out a shining effort from two ladies with their shooting.

Young gun Natalie Harm and Heather Donges had their eye on the ball all night and made a significant difference to the score board. Its great to see some very skilled shooters coming out to show their style.
