Job an absolute deli-ght for Di

DIANNA Johns has only been working in delis for two years but it seems she is just right for the job.

The deli manager and her staff recently took out the top spot in the Supa IGA Village Deli Department of the Year 2012.

Warwick beat out 22 others in the south west Queensland area - something which shocked Mrs Johns.

"I didn't even know we were nominated," she said.

"I was thrilled and excited."

She has been with Supa IGA Warwick since it opened two years ago and was thankful for the opportunity.

But boss, Supa IGA Warwick managing partner Shane Smith, said it was he who was thankful for Dianna's efforts and it was great to have her on his team.

"The quality is always there and the outstanding service," he said.

"Di will now go up against the top eight delis from Queensland and northern NSW."

Mrs Johns said she "just loves her job" and put everything into it - something which clearly hadn't gone unnoticed.
