Jumpers and Jazz golf day on tomorrow

THE Jumpers and Jazz Festival open golf day will be played at the Warwick Golf Club tomorrow.

And it won't take players long to recognise the jumpers side of the festival.

The tree near the entrance to the golf club has been decorated by some of the female members of the club.

The women decorated the tree at the golf club as well as one opposite the police station, tree 88.

Club member Judy Lester said they had a lot of fun preparing the tree.

The competition tomorrow is a single stableford for men and women and spots can be booked on the time sheet at the pro shop on 46613664. As always, visiting golfers are welcome.

There will be prizes for winners and runners-up and the most sought-after prize of all will be for the best-dressed golf buggy.

Mrs Lester said she had decorated one buggy with a Christmas In July theme.

"I spent an hour decorating our buggy,” Mrs Lester said.

"Members are getting in the spirit of the day and I hope there are plenty of scarves and beanies being worn.

"The day is a regular competition, but it is an open day for visitors as well.”
