Junior player shows Origin type skills to score in corner
RUGBY LEAGUE: Diving to score in the corner is almost what a rugby league winger is expected to do.
They start diving early in southwest Queensland as Cunnamulla player Alex Beresford showed in scoring a try in the corner for his team in a win against Central Downs.
In keeping with what fans see in telecasts, the tryscorer plants the ball right in the corner despite the attention of defenders.
There are eight teams and 136 players in action this week at Clifton in the zone 5 under-43kg rugby league carnival.

This carnival and last week's under-35kg carnival in Cunnamulla are two of the only weight carnivals remaining in Queensland Rugby League.
