Junior softballers ready for season return

SOFTBALL: Stanthorpe Junior Softball started last Saturday with its Batter Up program, and a small but enthusiastic group of players in tow.

The Batter Up program runs for a total of six weeks on Saturday mornings at Crisp Oval (Junior Rugby League).

The season costs $65 per player for primary school aged students from 6 to 12 years.

As part of the season cost, players all receive a good quality softball glove, a softball and a backpack.

Those players who are returning from last season will receive a bat instead of the other equipment.

Coaching is provided at no cost to the participants by Queensland Softball qualified coaches.

The next session for the softball program will be held on Saturday morning from 9am.
