Junior touch players needed for competition at Scots PGC

TOUCH: A seven-week junior touch competition will be held from October 7 at The Scots PGC College.

The competition has proved successful in the past four years and will be held on Friday afternoons in term 4 on Briggs and Dunning ovals at the college.

Touch is one of the stronger sports at Scots PGC and the students will help out with refereeing during the competition. The students will also coach in the U6, U8 and U10 competitions which are non competitive.

Finals series will be played in the U12 and U14 age groups.

Games will be played on five fields during the competition.

There is no requirement for children to buy a team uniform. Often the teams select a colour and team members were that colour for their games.

Cost is $35 per child, $30 for each additional child within a family.

Nominations are online at https://membership.sportstg.com/regoform.cgi?aID=18623&pKey=21b5fad1829e90d5c3f8d15bde174ee4&formID=41426

Friday game times: 4pm Under 6; 4.45pm U8 and U10; 5.30pm U12 and U14.
