Karate kids kick up a storm

WARWICK'S Aussie Kids Karate club held a grading on Friday night with 33 students taking part.

The students' hard work paid off with everyone doing exceptionally well and there were a lot of happy faces at the end when they received their new belts.

For the first time in Warwick, adults took part in grading as part of Renbukan Karate.

Seven adults successfully graded and all showed very strong form.

Renbukan Karate is looking to recruit more adults when training starts again next year.

Attendees can enjoy the confidence, fitness and freindship that karate can offer.

Classes start again during the first week of Feburary.

Aussie Kids Karate classes for children aged 4-12 are at Allora State School on Wednesdays from 5.30-6.30pm and Warwick West State School on Thursdays from 5.30-6.30pm.

Renbukan Karate adult classes (ages 13-80) are held at Allora State School on Wednesdays from 6.40-7.40pm and Warwick West State School on Thursdays from 6.40-7.40pm.
