Karting championships at Sandy Creek Raceway this weekend

KARTING: There will be 164 drivers from as far as Cairns in action this weekend at the Warwick Karting Club Track at Sandy Creek Raceway.

The event is a state championship meeting and follows the successful running of a pro tour national series event earlier in the year.

The Warwick club includes members from all over South East Queensland and hosts meeting most months with between 60 and 100 drivers.

This weekend's championship meeting will be one of the two biggest for the year,

Action starts at 8am each day and admission is free.

Fans are welcome to have a trackside view from the new grandstands constructed in the past year. The raceway is on Sandy Creek Rd, next door to the Sandy Creek Pub.
