Katie and Nikki catwalk out of My Kitchen Rules
PROMO models Katie and Nikki were eliminated from My Kitchen Rules tonight.
Instead of earning redemption, the university students scored five points less than their original instant restaurant.
Strategic scoring from Kat and Andre contributed to their demise, but there were plenty of dramas in the kitchen.
The girls were praised for their brave choice of serving liver in their entrée, converting Lloyd to offal, but their burned potato rosti brought the dish down.
"One of you should've made the decision that it shouldn't have gone on the plate," Pete Evans said.
"It was actually terrible."
Their main course featured perfect crackling, as expected after Nikki boasted of cooking crackling daily in her job at a butcher shop.

The German-inspired dish was only let down by the rind being left on the pork.
"I think you did a really good interpretation of good honest home cooking from that part of the world," Pete said.
But their dessert was a tale of two components, and only one of them was good.
"The kick-ass element for me is the ice cream," said Manu Feildel.
"I love the flavour of the burnt butter. The pastry is not short enough and I find the apple a little watery."
The show now moves on from the instant restaurants and into Kitchen Headquarters.
The top-scoring teams from the four instant restaurant groups will be safe from elimination in tomorrow night's challenge.
Robert and Lynzey, Carol and Adam, Will and Steve and Eva and Debra will watch from the sidelines as the teams take on their first challenge cooking for the public.
