KEBAB ZONE: Popular food outlet to open this week

AFTER months of closure, the Rose City only has to wait a few more days before it can enjoy the delicious taste of kebabs once more.

Kebab Zone is confirmed to be opening at Rose City Shoppingworld this week.

Kebab Zone and Group director Fatih Kara said a specific date had still not been set for the opening, but the store would be open before Christmas.

A final council inspection and a few bits of equipment are the last things that need to be ticked off the to-do list before opening.

Mr Kara said he was happy with how the outlet has come together.

"It's a brand new store, it's got our new concept so it's a bit more modern," he said.

Anticipation has been building in the community for the return of Kebab Zone, which has been closed since March.

Some have even started to question whether the store would be opening at all.

Mr Kara said the interest in the store has contributed to his own excitement to bring Kebab Zone back to Warwick.

"We try to give the best service, the best quality regardless of what happens. Getting that feedback gives us that confidence to continue the service we give," he said.

Kebabs, snack packs and meal deals will be back on the menu after the grand opening.

But the new Kebab Zone will also be trialling different Turkish dishes such as pide and some sweets, including baklava.

Mr Kara said Rose City residents could expect fresh, healthy and good quality food from Kebab Zone.

"We specialise in kebabs, we've been doing it for over 20 years so we know what it takes to make a good kebab and more importantly keeping it consistent," he said.

"I'm pretty sure once they have a kebab here they won't want to have one anywhere else."
