KEEP UP TO DATE: Killarney Show this weekend

YET another Killarney Show has been affected by wet weather, but that isn't stopping them today.

The region's "unluckiest" show has been called off more times in recent years that organisers would like to remember and last night wet weather put a stop to the show rodeo, but Killarney Show Society president Jan Hamilton said it was all systems go today.

"The horse program has already started," she said.

"The woodchop is underway as well and the heavy horses are over in ring six."

Mrs Hamilton said she encouraged everyone to get in the car and head out to the show for a day of fun.

""Make sure you wear your boots, because it's a little messy underfoot," she said.

"And keep an eye on our Facebook page for any announcements.

"There'll also be prizes and specials going up on the Facebook page throughout the day and you don't want to miss those."

With plenty of food and drink on site, undercover entertainment and shows like Wildlife Encounter to enjoy, Mrs Hamilton said the show would be a great way to spend the Saturday.

"Everyone is turning up and doing their jobs," she said.

"The utes are starting to roll in for the ute show and the pavilion is just spectacular, so there is plenty to see."
