Killarney makes big screen debut in Wanted

KILLARNEY has made its big screen debut on the Rebecca Gibney TV series Wanted overnight.
Last night's episode, the second in the series, featured a number of scenes shot across the Southern Downs.
In the episode, Gibney and co-star Geraldine Hakewill were filmed at Fisher Park (the service station at Cunningham's Gap), driving on the Head Rd near Killarney, the Killarney Hotel and the historic Railway Station.
A motel scene shot in Stanthorpe also appeared in the episode.
More Southern Downs scenes, including King St in Warwick are expected to appear in next week's episode.
Wanted airs on Channel 7on Tuesday nights at 9pm.
