Killarney Show: Were you in the crowd?

ALMOST 2000 people walked through the gates at the Killarney Show and Warwick Daily News was there to take your photos. Were you among the show-goers we snapped?

Organisers said fine weather, a new pavilion and an extended program had attracted more people to the show this year.

Killarney Show Society president Jan Hamilton said rain three years in a row during the event had led to entertainment being cancelled in the past, including the popular night rodeo.

"People came off the sidelines for what was perfect weather this year,” Mrs Hamilton said.

"There was a new main pavilion, record entries in many of the displays, strong livestock numbers, particularly cattle, utes on show and events on Sunday for the first time in the show's history.

"We also had a great woodchop program this year with record entries.”

Mrs Hamilton said a Lego display had attracted dozens of entries in the main pavilion.
