Killarney to line up again for another Border season

RUGBY LEAGUE: The Killarney Cutters are definitely fielding a team in next year's Border Rugby League competition.

A committee was elected at a meeting on Sunday and it is all steam ahead for a Cutters club which was in danger of folding if office bearers didn't come forward.

Ray Wagner and Leejay Cooper are again co-coaches and the plan is for training to start in the second week of January.

Wagner said there was a fair bit of interest from players.

"Most of this year's players are coming back and I expect some former players will return next season.”

Players welcome to call Wagner on 0488587095. The club is also keen to hear from anyone keen to help in an administrative or volunteer role.
