Kindy kids bring friends to play for a day

THE C&K community kindy was buzzing with activity as children celebrated Under 8s Week, with Bring a Friend Day.
Parents, grandparents, aunties and friends tagged along yesterday to enjoy a morning of fun with the kids.
There was painting, building, reading, face painting and more - enough to keep the smiles spread across little, and big, faces.
Teacher Jenny Drewett said Under 8s Week was a national initiative, to celebrate the importance of early childhood years.
"The kids just love it too," Mrs Drewett said.
"We had kindy at night time (on Tuesday) and Bring a Friend Days this week and we've got tunnels and obstacle courses set up as well to add to the fun."
Under-8s Week runs from May 20-27.
