Kingaroy rider first to score 90 in Canning Downs draft
CAMPDRAFTING: Kingaroy campdrafter Mark Buttsworth was the first to score 90 in round 1 of the Black Toyota Canning Downs Campdraft at the Warwick Rodeo.
The Canning Downs round 1 action started this afternoon, a little later in the day than planned and the aim is for the first 300 runs to be completed today.
Buttsworth was 15th into the arena and scored 90 with his horse Pepncoda Lena.
He scored 90 on one horse in the first round of the Pryde's EasiFeed Warwick Gold Cup so is the form rider early in the biggest week of campdrafting in the nation.
Tomorrow, there will be 300 runs in both the Gold Cup and Canning Downs campdrafts. The first action is at 5am.
There will be another day of Canning Downs and Gold Cup round 1 action on Wednesday.
