Ladies head out to rodeo for girls night in

THERE will be pink galore when the women of campdrafting converge on the Douglas Feez Pavilion at the Warwick Showgrounds for Girls Night In tonight.

The initiative was started last year by a group of campdrafting volunteers who held their first fund-raiser for Breast Cancer Research in the volunteers area with hay bales for seating.

This year, the volunteers and Warwick Show and Rodeo Society have invited all women campdrafters, volunteers and women keen to help in the battle against breast cancer to Girls Night In between 6pm-9pm on the first night of the rodeo.

Volunteer Anne Glass said the night was to coincide with the end of the first round of the C.G. Welding Ladies Silver Cup Campdraft which started at noon today.

"Kerry Hagenbach has facilitated the organisation of the night with a lot of help from other volunteers," Mrs Glass said.

"We would like to raise $1000 from the $10 entry fee and raffle proceeds. Each woman at the function will receive a free glass of wine and a ticket in the multi-draw raffle for the entry fee.

"Tickets are being sold on the ground and at the Girls Night In."

Campdrafting goes to Sunday afternoon with the first rodeo events on Friday night.
