Ladies’ muster to increase squash numbers

SQUASH: The long-awaited return of Warwick's squash season is just around the corner, with the ladies' muster taking place tonight.

Not limited to those with years of experience, club secretary Jenny Gillot said all were welcome to join the club.

"We want to encourage anyone who has ever thought about playing or who has played in the past to come along," she said.

"It's a social, fun competition, and we welcome all abilities and fitness levels.

"The club has a mixed competition, ladies' social fixture, junior coaching and social play available."

Held at St Mary's squash courts, tonight's muster will be the final opportunity to join a team with regular fixtures to begin next week.

A sport for all ages, Gillot said the club were also looking to boost their junior involvement.

"We have junior coaching and games on a Monday afternoon," she said.

"Coaching starts at 3.30pm to 5pm with our accredited coach Len Don."

Tonight's muster kicks off at 6.30pm at St Mary's squash courts.
