Large crowd expected at Carols in the Park in Warwick

THERE will be a lot of focus on family as the Warwick community comes together for Carols in the Park late this afternoon.

The entertainment was to start with the Warwick Choral Society and Warwick City Band from 4.45pm which precedes the start of the main performance at 5.30pm today.

Erin Hilton is one of 15 performers who came early to Leslie Park to check everything was in readiness for one of the night's of the year in Warwick.

The singers will perform to the music of Toowoomba band Chapter 3.

Mrs Hilton said there would be a lot of singing to suit families.

"There are a lot of stalls set up as part of the carols as well,” she said.

"The entertainment will go to roughly 8pm. The weather is fantastic but bring a coat.”
