Joshua Taylor is best of Cutters

JOSHUA Taylor was one of the stars for the home side as Killarney went down 62-32 to Tenterfield at Charlie Andrews Oval on Saturday in the Border Rugby League.

Killarney trailed 24-22 at half-time and dropped off in the second half despite having seven players on the bench.

Taylor put in a huge effort all afternoon at five-eighth and the Bowman brothers, Aaron and Mick, showed plenty of courage.

Aaron McKinney and Shannon Slater each scored two tries for Killarney with Tony Bryant and Craig Doige scoring a try each.

Nathan Hooper landed four goals.

Andrew Clothier scored four tries and landed five goals for the winners.

Referees' points went to Andrew Clothier (Tenterfield, 3), Nathan Hooper (Killarney, 2) and Murray Johnstone (Tenterfield, 1)
