Leave a memorial message for lost cricketer Phillip Hughes

THE Daily News is giving readers the opportunity to place memorial messages to late cricketer Phillip Hughes on our Facebook page.

Like cricketers around the nation, Warwick junior players on Saturday paid tribute to a great cricketer and yesterday the Warwick and Stanthorpe Mitchell Shield players were at Slade Park when the scoreboard stated at the start of play, 408 for Phillip's Test number and 0-63, his not out score when hit by a bouncer which led to his untimely death.

His funeral is in his hometown of Macksville (NSW) on Wednesday afternoon .
