Legal weed sales getting higher

THE money pot is growing now that legalisation has removed much of the stigma around medical and recreational marijuana in various states of the US. North American marijuana sales were $9.1 billion in 2016, up 30% in a year, according to Arcview Market Research. The "green rush” shows no sign of slowing down. Arcview says marijuana is arguably the world's fastest growing industry. Sales are expected to increase to $27.7 billion in 2021, representing a 25% annual growth rate. The states allowing adult use of marijuana are home to 21% of the US population.
