Light show in the sky brings rain, cooler weather
THE spectacular lightening show that lit up the sky over Warwick on Wednesday night brought with it 14mm of rain and the coolest day of the year so far at 11.8 degrees.
But Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Mark Trenorden said another storm was not expected until Sunday afternoon.
"There is a possibility of isolated showers (this) afternoon," he said.
"There will be some high clouds around (tomorrow) and the chance of a possible afternoon shower.
"On Sunday there will once again be the chance of a shower and a possible afternoon storm."
Mr Trenorden said the temperatures this show weekend would not be too far from average.
Today's temperatures will range from 13 to 23 degrees. Tomorrow and Sunday will both range from 12 to 22 degrees.
Mr Trenorden said Warwickites could expect a light to moderate south, south-easterly wind over the weekend.
Monday will be mostly fine, with showers increasing for the first half of the week.
