Lightning strikes start fires in Warwick

A FIRE sparked during an electrical storm over Warwick has been caught on camera.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said firefighters were called to Activity St in the Industrial Estate about 7pm.

Initial reports suggested a telephone pole was on fire.

The spokeswoman said crews had reported there was a grassfire at the scene but they managed to extinguish the flames.

They had left the scene by 7.14pm.
