LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: Hit ABC drama to film in Warwick
WARWICK is set to host a crew filming part of the second season of the ABC's hit crime drama Harrow.
A production team will be in the region in late January and early February.
Filming will take place at Allora, in the Warwick CBD, and near Glenvale Rd.
Southern Downs councillor for tourism and economic development Rod Kelly said it was a win for the region.
"It's a great opportunity for Warwick and the Southern Downs,” Cr Kelly said.
"These crews are big business, they have all sorts of people involved and they travel like a big circus,” he said.
"They buy stuff locally and they stay in motels so the economic flow-on effects are enormous.”
Harrow centres on Dr Daniel Harrow, a forensic pathologist with a disregard for authority and empathy for the dead, helping him solve bizarre cases.
However, a terrible secret from his past threatens his career and personal life.
It stars Ioan Gruffudd and is usually filmed in Brisbane at the heritage-listed offices and laboratories of the former Brisbane Dental Hospital and College.
