Lions Club of Warwick welcomes new members

Lions Club of Warwick Inc, has welcomed two new Lions members, Ross and Aileen Riddles.

At last dinner meeting held at the Criterion Hotel, Warwick Lions, President Con Lo Giudice welcomed Lion Ross and Aileen in to the club after the induction was conducted by Lion Jeff Ferguson , sponsor Lion Heather Shillings.

President Con said " This bring prosperity in our club when members made their presence in the community whenever selling fundraising raffle , BBQ's at Uber Market or Bunnings and manning the Show and Rodeos Entrance gates and volunteering at Driver Reviver, we there to SERVE. Our club cooperate with others Services Clubs when a help need to fundraising for a Humanitarian needy.

Last Month in our second Dinner meeting we had the pleasure of visit of our 1stVice District Governor Elect , Lion Kim Forrest, were she made special presentations on behalf of the District 201Q1 Graham Jackson to Lion Heather Shilling reviving the DG Excellence award, also presentation to the Club , the Lions Club International Foundation award 100% Silver Given Patch 2015-2016 for contribution to the Vulnerable Humanitarian Need.

President Con Lo Giudice was presented with the 15 years in Lions Milestone Chevron Award,and to Lion Trevor Sheeran the 45 years Chevron Award, both awards given by Lions International President , Chancellor Bob Corlew.

1st VDGE Kim Forrest emphasized the valued work members of the Lions club of Warwick have archived over so many years and continuing doing during the preparation of the centennial 100 celebration 2017 since the birth of Lions Club International by its founder Melvin Jones.

Other distinguished Guest,2 from Multiple District Lions Club of Denmark , Lions Anne Marie and Knud Smidt, they were part of Operation Friendship host by the Lions Club of Stanthorpe with President John Smales and 6 of their members, 2 local members of the Vision Impaired were invited part of the White Cane Week, Frank Taylor and his dog Shiraz and Jean Schnitzerling.

Invited also were two members of the Australian Lions Club Motherhoming, traveling thru Warwick.
President Con Lo Giudice continually congratulate the members for the tremendous work e support give to local and International Community, so proud that such support valued reach the needy.
