Local Generosity Shines at Christmas

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of the Southern Downs region for their generous donations for Share the Dignity's #itsinthebag campaign.

The Gorgeous Coffee Lounge in Killarney received 38 bags, Voyage Fitness collected 82 bags while Maddie's Gift Wares collected 50 bags.

All handbags contained essential items as well as something special for the recipient and most bags also had a card or small note of support.

Four local charities in Stanthorpe and Warwick received the handbags to distribute to women in need.

Without the generosity of the Southern Downs region and the owners and managers of the businesses this would not have been possible.

Australia-wide 92,000 bags were collected by Share the Dignity, with 25,500 coming from Queensland.
