Warwick Telstra store rings hot

WARWICK'S Telstra Store has secured a double win, including an accolade for Outstanding People and Operations, at a recent Telstra Awards night recognising the best stores in Southern Queensland.

The store has again been awarded as one of the region's top performing stores, recognised for its community contribution at the quarterly Telstra Country Wide Store Manager Awards Night.

The award for Outstanding People and Operations recognises leadership within stores, ensuring employees work together as one team to best serve local customers.

The latest accolade comes after the Warwick Telstra Store took the top gong as Store of the Year for 2014, at the previous annual awards night held in July.

The store also picked up the award for Outstanding Personalised Care and Ownership, in addition to Outstanding People and Operations.

The Warwick Telstra Store is active within the community, supporting both the Warwick Gymnastics Club and Warwick Wolves Soccer Club by helping out at Bunnings barbecue fundraisers, and staffing the canteens to free parents up to watch their children play and perform.

The team also runs Cyber Safety education programs for seniors at the Warwick U3A.

Telstra Warwick Store Business Manager Bianca Jenkins said she was thrilled with the awards, reflecting the hard work the team has put in over the past 12 months.

"We have a phenomenal team in the Warwick store, and they've worked really hard to land these awards - putting customers first, providing first-class advice, and helping people across the area connect," she said.

"To be recognised with these accolades is a reflection of this hard work."

Telstra Country Wide Area General Manager, Southern Queensland May Boisen, said the Warwick Telstra Store achieved the awards through delivering a brilliant connected future for the community.

"The Warwick Telstra Store embodies Telstra's commitment to connect with our customers and our communities. The Warwick team show true community spirit, and put their customers first," she said.

"From everyone at Telstra, we congratulate Bianca Jenkins and her team on a fantastic year."
