Locals patient with Warwick-Allora Rd repair

THE Department of Transport and Main Roads, which will do minor maintenance and repair work on the Warwick-Allora Rd in coming weeks, thanked Warwick residents for their patience during the recent flood-repair program.

A department spokesman said the Warwick-Allora Rd was reopened in early June.

"A temporary closure was required 3km north of Warwick while excavation and rebuilding of the embankment above the Condamine River was carried out," he said.

"Minor maintenance repair work will be carried out in the coming weeks under stop/go conditions.

"Two pavement repair sites, between the intersections of Willowvale and Upper Wheatvale Rd, and between Dalrymple Creek Rd and the rail crossing, 1km from Allora, were completed in March."
