LOGIES 2016: Best and Worst Dressed

THE Logies is Australian television's night of nights, but it's also one of the biggest local fashion events of the year.

Jewel tones were the big trend in today's red carpet arrivals, with burgundy and forest green particular staNd-outs when it came to colour.

Black lace is still a staple and capes, a trend in the past few years, again were a popular choice.

But it was Rebecca Judd who stood out from the crowd in her powder blue, full-skirted Givenchy gown.

Here are The Guide's best and worst dressed from the Logies red carpet:

BEST DRESSED
Rebecca Judd
- She may have looked like a Disney princess straight out of Frozen, but Judd pulled off this tricky grown with class.

Jesinta Campbell - Only someone with a body like Campbell could pull this off and she's bang on trend with the sheer material covering a bodysuit.

Jessica Marais - Her black and nude gown was elegant with a beautiful cut-out back accentuated by her high pony tail. The sharp shoulders created a strong silhouette that stood out on the carpet.

WORST DRESSED

Lee Lin Chin - I love watching her on TV but not sure what Chin is going for in this bright yellow number.

Sam Moran - It would be nice to see Moran break out of his preschool character, as great as he is, and ditch the safari suit for a real tux for once.

Half of The Real Housewives of Melbourne - Again, I love watching these ladies but some of them hit the mark while others missed. There's sequins and then there's sequins!
